C4RPOOL is an alternative hip-hop band with genre-blending live shows combining poetic lyricism, high-energy instrumentation, and hip-hop fusion. Formerly known as DOTWAV Media, a Raleigh-based band formed in the Triangle, is now based in Los Angeles and features MichealTheVillain, Renzo Starr, and Kent Danger. They are inspired by ways to mix early 2000s alternative rock and hip-hop using modern production techniques. C4RPOOL is bringing their show back home to Raleigh as part of their national tour for their new album: CREATURE MODE: VELOCITY. The show also features Maasho, another local artist, known well in Raleigh for his compelling live sets showcasing narrative, culture, and raw lyricism.
