Join UC Santa Cruz professor Dr. Ari Friedlaender on an exciting research expedition to the bottom of the world! With more than two decades of experience studying whales and their environment in Antarctica, Friedlaender will share captivating stories from his groundbreaking conservation work. Discover how his team tags whales, what happens when you wake a sleeping whale and the creative ways they keep morale high during months spent in the icy wilderness.
