Read With Me Children's Books & Art in partnership with Paper & Stars Studio are bringing an original children's book and art festival that will truly be one for the books.
Beyond The Book Children’s Book & Art Festival, is a free outdoor family celebration of community, creativity and storytelling. Discover author and illustrator workshops, interactive performances, collaborative art installations, creative crafts, talented vendors, scavenger hunts, and inspiring entertainment. Join us for a day immersed in stories that will spark your imagination to experience children’s literature and art in a whole new way!
Featuring Paperhand Puppet Intervention, author and illustrator Dan Santat, author Laurel Snyder, One Tribe, a book character parade, and much more!
Beyond The Book Children’s Book & Art Festival is open to all with activities and events designed for ages 8 and under. This year's theme is Chapter 1: Fairy Tales. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Read and Feed, a non-profit after-school literacy program that provides meals, tutoring and books to children from low-income families in Wake County.
Wear your best fairy tale costume and join us for a day full of fun and imagination.
