// About Liza Roberts
Liza Roberts is a journalist who first learned of the extraordinary world of art in North Carolina as the editor and general manager of the award-winning Walter magazine, which she founded in 2012 and grew with a talented team of colleagues. The idea for a book about the contemporary art and artists of our state came when she tried to find a book on the subject and learned that there wasn't one. She is a graduate of Hamilton College and has a masters degree from the Columbia University School of Journalism.
