For the third year running, we have partnered with the North Carolina Museum of Art to serve cocktails inspired by the popular, annual event Art in Bloom, presented by PNC. In the same way that floral designers interpret works of art in the Museum’s collection, our bartenders were similarly inspired to create cocktails as delicious as they are interesting to look at. A portion of proceeds from the sale of these cocktails will be donated to the Museum.

Join us at The Willard Rooftop Wednesday, March 13, through Sunday, March 17, during our normal operating hours to enjoy three artfully crafted cocktails from our skilled bar team.

Piano
Available to order: Wednesday 3/13, Saturday 3/16, and Sunday 3/17
Matcha-infused Patrón, half and half, white chocolate paint, and a diamond meringue float
Simple and refined, this cocktail was inspired by the painting “Piano (for Duke Ellington)” by artist Robert Moskowitz.

Cupid and Psyche
Available to order: Thursday 3/14, Saturday 3/16, and Sunday 3/17
Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin, lemon, egg white, blue and gold coconut oil stripes, and dried rose petals
This airy and angelic cocktail was inspired by the sculptures “Cupid” and “Psyche” by French sculptor Étienne Maurice Falconet.

Pigeon
Available to order: Friday 3/15, Saturday 3/16, and Sunday 3/17
Bacardi Ocho Rum; house-made strawberry-mint syrup; lime; and a black lava salt, gold, and lime rim
With striking bold colors and eye-catching shapes, this cocktail was inspired by the painting “Pigeon” by Elizabeth Murray.
