It’s not a feast, it’s a fine dining FIGHT!
Get your tickets now for the Third Annual Boodle Fight/Boodle Night and ring in 2020 at MOFU with friends and family!
What’s a boodle fight? Watch here: https://www.greatbigstory.com/stories/the-boodle-fight-a-military-feast
A “boodle fight” is a Filipino Military tradition where a feast is placed on a long table lined with bamboo leaves and every participant, regardless of rank or file, stand shoulder to shoulder and eat together as a symbol of camaraderie, brotherhood, and equality. Of course, the “fight” part refers to the fact that it’s traditionally eaten with your hands and it’s everyone for themselves during the feast. The MOFU NYE Boodle Fight 3.0 will include suckling pigs, roasted duck, grilled lamb, octopus, squid, shrimp and whole fishes, cheeses, traditional Asian desserts, fruits, chocolates, and more! Boodles Gin and non-Boodles drinks will also be included!
Want to wear your NYE outfit to dinner, but are worried about the fight? Don’t worry – they'll also be providing bibs and disposable gloves.
Stay after dinner for Boodle Night, with drinks featuring the exclusive and elusive Boodles Mulberry Gin and the original Boodle British London Dry Gin and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are limited for the Boodle Fight, but Boodle Night is open to all!
Tickets are $80 each for the Boodle Fight and includes two drinks. In keeping with tradition, they will be donating a portion of each ticket sold to Haven House (http://www.havenhousenc.org/), an organization that works with youth and young adults in our community through programs, advocacy and community mobilization.
Here's to 2020!
